Synthesis and Local Capture
Create an Example Signal Problem
Section titled “Create an Example Signal Problem”Dataset Preparation
Create or capture RF examples, track them in the Library, then curate and inspect the dataset.
Choose a source path
Synthetic generation is useful for controlled examples and quick training material. Local capture is useful when the task depends on hardware, environment, device behavior, or scenario-specific interference. In both cases, the output should enter the Library before curation.
SNR sample distribution
A compact meter for expected signal quality in generated examples.
- Median SNR

Generator Settings
Section titled “Generator Settings”Generator settings to document
Modulation selection
Choose the modulation classes that match the training problem.
SNR range
Set expected signal quality and keep enough variation for the model to generalize.
Signal configuration
Record sample rate, center frequency assumptions, pulse shaping, channel model, and gain settings.
Estimated totals
Confirm generated examples, class counts, and storage size before starting the task.
